Kate Burda

Kate Burda joined The Summit Group after over 25 years working with public and private companies focused on building sales and marketing teams and strategies to realize higher revenue potential. She has lead marketing and sales teams, revenue management groups, process management, and sales training. 

Kate’s experience has ranged from working within a start-up Real Estate Investment firm that recently went public, large multi-national hospitality corporations, smaller franchise groups within hospitality, and commercial and multi-family real estate. She has been an executive with companies that have gone through mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcy, start-ups, and growth. Hyatt, Hilton, and Marriott are some of the companies where she has lead sales teams.  

She is passionate about connecting people with ideas and strategies to help them achieve their goals and their highest potential. She believes that at its core, sales and marketing is about enriching the connection from one to another. 

Kate received her MBA from the University of Colorado and completed her BA from the University of Wisconsin Stout. She and her husband Bob live in Dallas, where he has pleasure of being the Associate Commissioner at the Big 12 Conference. If she is not thinking about the clients of The Summit Group you can find her traveling and exploring.
